I give up.

What's the sample? :D

By the way, I'm going through and listening to everything you've uploaded. :/

buyj3llo responds:

OMG, thank you so much.
The sample is the intro from startrek (the old one from the 60s with william shatner).

This is trance

First of all, I'm rating 10/10 to encourage you finish this song!

There are some issues with mastering. Parts are simply too loud, and you should do something about it. Also, this isn't techno- it's trance. There's a specific difference there, and some people on this site will rate you zero just for mixing up your genres. I don't understand those people, but they exist.

5/5
10/10 FOR NOW :D

Accurate title

For some reason I just started laughing when I heard this, from beginning to end.

Maverlyn responds:

This might end up in a cartoon so im pleased to see that it works :)

Hot damn!!

The fact that you did this with stock FL stuff makes it 10 times more amazing.

Nechura responds:

Cheers.

Awesome!

When it's slow, it's too slow (dynamically speaking- I mean, there was too much time with no drums from 0:32 til the next drop) but when it gets going, it's absolutely fantastic!

Good work, and amazing danceable beats!

Great Song. Also...

...Um, you all know PX9 is a girl, right?

DAMN

God damn. That was sick, yo.

Vocals were weak

Everything is done in your trademark awesome style, but the vocals...

I think one problem is that you're a bit too legato with your singing. Rather than being like:
"Cryin', people were lyin," you're like "Cuh-rye-ingg, pee-pul were lie-inggg"

also try using midi input to find notes with autotune and set retune to 0. :[

Then again, you WERE sick, so I guess I might be going off in the wrong direction with this

ioneofmany responds:

Yeah that is totally the wrong direction. I wasn't trying to copy your vocal feel fully. Its disappointing that you don't like the smooth flow it has to it, but I wanted to emphasize the lyrics in a very clear standard accent with a very smooth flow. Your track at 170bpm allows for faster lyrics at different parts, but legato fits the fx i've thrown onto it as EVERYTHING FLOWS IN. As far as the autotuning goes, that was already done in that regard; You can't correct it further to be natural because I decided to make it obviously autotuned-style. I'm not sure how i'll do the final though. It was planned to be natural, but I'm kind of digging the cher effect feel even if you aren't.

Just heard your track in Zombies From Planet X

Just wanted to let you know (you probably already did) this track got used in a custom Left 4 Dead 2 map (which owns.)

SO DO THIS SONG

MashedByMachines responds:

Thank you :D I thought he only used my song "sector11", but appaerently he used this one too. cool :)

Almost perfect!

This is awesome psytrance!

The only problem I have with pretty much the whole song is the bass. The basslines are amazingly creative (seriously I wish I could approach that level of trancy creativity) but the sound of the actual bass (synth settings, sample, what have you) sounded a little cheesy.

But still, the percussion is genuinely fantastic. I haven't heard any drums of that caliber on Newgrounds since I joined!

PERVOK responds:

I don't even really like to detune my bass synth, doesn't make it sound solid enough. Yeah it sounds a bit cheesy, but the sound is clear and defined.
